הארכת התקשרות מעבר לזכות ברירה לשנה חמישית עם אוניברסיטת בר אילן הארכת ההתקשרות חיונית שכן מדובר בין היתר על פיתוח ניסויים שנדרשים לצורך לימודי מעבדה בהוראת ביולוגיה בבתי הספר, התאמת ניסויים שפותחו לבחינות הבגרות במעבדה, אספקת חומרים נדרשים לביצוע פעילויות מעבדה וניסויים בבתי ספר ועוד, וללא השירותים הנכללים במכרז לא ניתן יהיה לבצע מעבדות ביולוגיה בבתי הספר. ההתקשרות מאושרת לפי תקנה 3(4)(ב)(2).
