1. בחינות הרישוי הממשלתיות ברפואה מתקיימות בהתאם לנדרש בחוק (פקודת הרופאים), פעמיים בשנה עבור סטודנטים לרפואה שלמדו בחו"ל. 2. הבחינה מיועדת לשתי מטרות: • קבלת רישיון לעסוק ברפואה בישראל (למי שלמד 6 שנים מלאות ועבד במקצוע לפחות שנה). • קבלת הרשאה לביצוע סטאז' (למי שלמד 6 שנים מלאות ולא עבד במקצוע). 3. בחינות הרישוי מנוהלות מאז ומתמיד ע"י ההסתדרות הרפואית בישראל (המועצה המדעית), בפיקוח משרד הבריאות.
