משטרת ישראל מבקשת להאריך את תקופת השכירות לתקופה קצרה מהסיבה שאין עדיין החלטה ברורה וסופית לגבי מיקום ופריסה של המטה הארצי ברמלה לכן מבקשים להאריך לתקופה קצרה ובתקופה זו תערך בחינה משותפת של כלל הגורמים במשטרת ישראל בנוגע לפריסה העתידית של המטה הארצי שלוחת רמלה. לאור זאת נוהל מומ מול המשכיר להארכת השכירות לתקופה קצרה , מנגד טען המשכיר כי השטח שעומד לרשות המשטרה הוא 8,928 מר . סוכם על הארכת השכירות
