משרד הרווחה משתמש היום במערכות של חברת היטאצ'י לאחסון מרכזי של הנתונים והגיבויים של המשרד. כעת מבקש המשרד לרכוש מחברת היטאצ'י שדרוג למע' האחסון מתוצרתה שבשימושו: תוספת אחסון כ- 200TB, שיפור ביצועים, יכולת שכפול מרוחק (TC) וניהול אחוד בתוכנה הקיימת. השדרוג יאפשר מענה לצרכי המשרד הדחופים בשיפור זמינות ושרידות בשימור ומיצוי השקעות העבר. בהתאם לחווד של הגורם המקצועי, חברת היטאצ'י ישראל היא החברה היחיד
