במחלקת אספקה סטרילית, משתמשים לעיקור בגז ETO. חייבים להתקין גלאים לאיתור דליפת ETO. עפי הדרישות, נדרש לבצע בדיקה וכיול לגלאי, אחת ל 6 חודשים. בתוך הגלאי קיימים סנסורים, שיש להחליפם, במידת הצורך. הגלאי הינו אביזר בטיחותי, השומר על בריאות העובד והמתריע על דליפה של גז ETO. הגלאי חייב להיבדק, פעם בחצי שנה. חובה להחליף בו חלפים מקוריים בלבד. חברות אחרות שפנינו אליהן, הודיעו שהם מטפלים רק בגלאים מתוצרתם
