ביחידה מינהל תקשוב ומערכות מידע במשרד החינוך יש מחשב MF כבר למעלה מ-20 שנה. על מחשב זה הוקמו רבות ממערכות המשרד. לצורך הקמת המערכות נרכש, בין השאר , מערכת לניהול טבלאות DPT . מערכת ה-DPT משמשת לניהול ערכים בנושאים שונים ואת המשמעות וכן את הערך האפליקטיבי. המערכות פעילות בסביבה זו משתמשות בתשתית זו והערכי הטבלאות אלה מועברים לשימוש גם למערכות בסביבה הפתוחה . לא ניתן לוותר על מערכת זו ,אין פתרון אחר
