Questions
Do I need an API key?
No. The assistant signs you in to your Sell to State account with OAuth. You see a consent page that names the application and the address it returns to. The access token expires after 1 hour and renews for up to 30 days.
Which tools does Claude get?
Search across tenders, buyers and suppliers; tender, buyer and supplier detail; award search and CSV export of up to 500 rows per call; your saved lists and saved searches. Each tool is marked read-only, write or delete, so Claude asks before it deletes a list or a saved search.
Where does the data come from?
From official government procurement sources, for example Find a Tender and Contracts Finder (UK), TED (EU) and national portals. Each tender links to its official notice.
