Sell to State + Claude Code
The Sell to State plugin gives Claude Code five skills and the Sell to State MCP server. The skills tell Claude which tool to call, which filters to use, and how to show the result.
What you can do
- find-open-tenders: tenders that accept bids, by keyword and country.
- research-public-buyer: a one-page brief on a public buyer.
- competitor-government-wins: the public contracts a company won.
- tender-alerts: save a search, then get new matches by email or a polling job.
- sell-to-state-api: the REST API reference for scripts.

Questions
Can I use the skills without the MCP server?
Yes. Set an API key in STS_API_KEY and the skills call the REST API. Create the key in your account under API keys.
Do I need an API key?
No. The assistant signs you in to your Sell to State account with OAuth. You see a consent page that names the application and the address it returns to. The access token expires after 1 hour and renews for up to 30 days.
Where does the data come from?
From official government procurement sources, for example Find a Tender and Contracts Finder (UK), TED (EU) and national portals. Each tender links to its official notice.
