ONEE sits at the center of Morocco's two most pressing infrastructure programs: an ambitious renewable energy transition targeting over half of installed power capacity from solar and wind, and an urgent response to severe and worsening drought-driven water stress. On the energy side, ONEE coordinates the integration of large-scale renewable projects into the national grid, including the Noor solar complex in Ouarzazate, and tenders grid-reinforcement and interconnection works that allow variable renewable output to be balanced across the system.
